Tecumseh 2 Urbana 1
The Tecumseh Lady Arrow Soccer Team earned their sixth victory
of the season with a hard fought 2-1 win over the Urbana Lady
Hillclimbers on Saturday. The Hillclimbers displayed good
speed and passing ability early as they were able to move
the ball into the finishing third with regularity putting
pressure on the Arrow defense to make stops of their forward
advances. The Tecumseh defense led by Ally Triplett and Kelly
Karjala was up to the task however and had several nice stops
in the first 15 minutes of play. The Arrow offense on the
other hand struggled with midfield possession and as such
was unable to connect enough quality passes to generate scoring
chances. Go
to complete report by Tom Minutolo.
September 24, 2008
Tecumseh 3 Shawnee 0
The Tecumseh Lady Arrow Soccer Team won their fifth
game of the season at home against a very scrappy Shawnee
Lady Brave squad by a final score of 3-0. The game was very
physical from the start and both teams appeared to be evenly
matched. Shawnee did a nice job with midfield passing and
possession but a strong defensive backfield comprised of seniors
Ally Triplett, Shawna Penny, and junior Kelly Karjala kept
the Braves from getting quality shots on goal. Go
to complete report by Tom Minutolo.
