Athletic Philosophy
The Tecumseh Local School District believes that:
Interscholastic athletics are an integral part of the school's educational process. Participation in a sound athletic program contributes to the development of health, happiness, physical skills, emotional maturity, social competence, moral values, and self-discipline of the individual.

Athletics teaches participants the value of cooperation and competition in achieving team goals.

The purpose of interscholastic athletics is to offer opportunities of participation to as many students as possible and to further students' interests in competition by developing a comprehensive program.

Goodwill Stores Drive to Victory

In the spirit of friendly competition, Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley and WHIO-TV would like to challenge you to beat Fairborn off the field as part of the Goodwill Stores Drive to Victory. During the Goodwill Stores Drive to Victory, students, staff, parents and community members have the opportunity to rally behind the school in an effort to collect more pounds of clothing, household items and vehicles than your competitor in an effort to support our services for people with disabilities. Over its two year history, this campaign has involved 22 area high schools that have collected in excess of 131,000 pounds of clothing and household items along with 13 used vehicles. Through the sale of these donations we have generated over $85,000 for Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley services that help people in our local communities.

Support your community in a competition where everyone wins.

Your strength conditioning, long practices, dedicated coaches and players, and commitment to excellence on the field will be evident on Friday when you face off against Fairborn. Your commitment to the community will be celebrated by collecting the most donations and winning the Goodwill Stores Drive to Victory! May the best team win!

UPDATE!
The Athletic Department and Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley would like to thank the New Carlisle Community for their generous donations to the "Drive to Victory" Campaign. Tecumseh defeated Fairborn in this friendly competition 11,300 pounds to 7,220 pounds. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED!
